With the government draft of the NIS2 Implementation and Cybersecurity Strengthening Act, Germany is transposing the extended scope of application for mandatory protection of network and information security systems in accordance with the NIS2 Directive into national law. The regulations include obligations for risk management, reporting, registration and governance. Significantly more sectors and companies are affected - it is time to set up legally compliant structures and processes.
